Hi,
1. I have created a video for 1 point. Watch from the 40th seconds. The shot played by Player 1 on the 50th second is legal shot but still, Player 2 is able to move the ball in next shot.
Is it possible for you to provide a small document on fouls? It will give us more clarity on what is considered as foul and what not.
2. Thank You for guiding us here.
3. Could you please guide us bit more here like what & where we have to make changes so that ‘Red’ circle appears for the player if he/she is trying to hit Black Ball before potting all the assigned balls.

1. The shot was legal but player1 didn’t pot any ball so he lost his turn and player2 had his turn. This is standard rule in pool

3. Open CueController.cs, find DrawTargetLines() function and replace it with the code from attachement. You can also adjust it later if you want by editing two long if(){} statements

Hi,

Thank You for providing the code. Will implement and let you know the results.

On 1st point, there is confusion between our understanding. I completely agree with you that Player1 didn’t pot any balls so the turn has changed to Player2 but the issue is Player2 is able to move the cueball (White Ball), which happens when the opponent commits the foul.

Video – Notice that at 1.02, Player2 is able to move the cueball.

Let me know if you’re unable to understand the issue here.

Ok, I found issue, it happened only in offline mode. To fix it open CueController.cs and in setTurnOffline() function find this line:

 
if (!GameManager.Instance.iWon && !GameManager.Instance.iLost)

and change it to:

if (!GameManager.Instance.iWon && !GameManager.Instance.iLost && GameManager.Instance.faultMessage.Length > 0)

Hi,

I have encountered another issue. I’m seeing this issue mostly when one player joins through Facebook and other as the guest.

While playing the game, cue ball gets hidden and cue stick & direction behave in a strange way but I’m able to play the shot. Please have a look at the image.

I couldn’t find any particular pattern which is leading to this. We played 10 games in multiplayer mode (facebook & guest) and encountered this in almost 4-5 games.

 

Please have a look. We are stuck on this from last 3-4 days.

Hi,

I can’t say that for surety. I faced few more issues today when one player is logged in from Facebook and another one as the guest:

1. After breaking, the cue stick disappeared and the opponent was declared the winner. No ball was plotted in this shot and I was logged in through FB.
2. I’m assigned stripe ball but it is showing Red Sign on stripe ball and Direction sign on Solid Ball. And, if I hit Solid Ball, I get foul. Please check the attached file.

Could you please do a couple of test play, you will notice these bugs for sure. I didn’t try any fancy stuff, just the normal gameplay. Try these login combinations – (Facebook – Facebook, Guest – Facebook)

How do I take Ball in Hand to move cue ball? Should I double tap on the cue ball for that?

I also faced issues with FB login today. I tried reinstalling the app from the website as well. I think, there might be something down at FB side. Will check this again tomorrow.

Make sure you got correct photon and playfab ids under staticstrings.cs and in Window – photon unity networking – highlight server settings

Thanks, the connecting issue was resolved after I install Photon on playfab website. The 2nd issue is still there. Not sure why the white line remains in that position.

there are a couple of more iPhone x related issues. Could you help fixing them?

– The chat purchasing screen has chat message on top of Buy button.

– For some full screen ads, the close button ‘x’ is too far at top right corner. It can be barely seen on iPhone x.

Hi,

 

1. To disable ads when play button is clicked open StaticStrings.cs and edit public static bool showAdOnSelectTableScene = true;

to false.

 

2. You cannot add avatar. It is only fethced automatically when you login with facebook.

 

3. I dont know why button for fullscreen ads is in wrong position. It is handled by SDK and it cannot be changed via code.

 

4. To fix chat issue on iphone X import package to project. I have edited it so it will be fine. Package is added to that message.
