I try to do what you told me but i receive other errors!!!

i change my version of unity, i installed Unity 5.3.8. the error disappear, but i receive this:

Assets/FacebookSDK/SDK/Editor/FacebookPostprocess.cs(52,36): error CS0117: `UnityEditor.PlayerSettings’ does not contain a definition for `applicationIdentifier’

 

How i can fix this issue.

Try this.

 

Open FacebookPostProcess.cs and in line 52 change

 
if (PlayerSettings.applicationIdentifier == “com.Company.ProductName”)

to

if (Application.identifier == “com.Company.ProductName”)

Ok. Just remove that if statement from there. It’s not necessary.

 

Anyways – I still think you should update unity to newest version (2017.1). 5.3.8 is very old…

After following the description (deleting some files in Library and restart Unity), it worked, no more errors.

However Facebook had now errors on compilation (Android target).

Hi, Sorry for late reply.

 

I have never saw such error but from message I can see that there are conflicts in AndroidManifest.xml.

 

It seems that there are duplicated activites in manifest (com.facebook.facebookactivity)

 

Please open AndroidManifest.xml (there can be more than one in project) and find that declarations and remove one of them

It says here that this game is made with Unity 5.4, I have Unity 5.6 so that should not be a problem.

However when I try to open the game in Unity it says its saved with Unity 2017.1

Can you please provide a version that works with Unity 5.6.x

I am unable to change anything in player settings like name, bundle Id etc.
First it ways something like “You do not have permission..”, then I opened services and created a new game id. The message saying “no permission…” did go away, but I still cant edit anything + 2 new errors came up. See screenshots.

You need to enable unity ads in services to fix that error. About permissions to change id – this is weird, I have never heard about that
