Also facebook login is disabled for WebGL builds. To enable it go to StartScriptController.cs and

change fbButton.setActive(false); to fbButton.setActive(true). See screenshot.

Thanks for letting me know about how to enable Facebook Login from WebGL builds. But my problem isn’t this.

I need to fix the issue as I can’t play the game because the app tries to access the server (PlayFab Photon) that isn’t allowed to be displayed inside Facebook Canvas. See attached screenshot. I don’t know which URL should I put there.

The link you sent isn’t relevant as my game isn’t using server of my own but it’s using PlayFab’s Photon Unity server. About your question, I have tried on various forums and I also posted a question on PlayFab Forums. After getting no solution, I came here.

I commend your fast response. I hope, we’ll be able to sort this out fast together.

Hi,

 

Maybe you need to add api endpoint for playfab available in your playfab dashboard. Go to your app in playfab and then on left-side menu go to Settings and there is your API endpoint url.

Hi, Contact playfab support please. I don’t know what should be placed there. I did know that it needs to be published on facebook canvas to get facebook features work but didn’t do it so I didn’t know there will be such problems.

1. It should connect all platforms. I have tested it Android – Unity Editor, Android – macOS, Android – WebGL, iOS – Android, iOS – Unity Editor. All of them worked for me. When you are trying to connect users just don’t push play button at same time. Give it 1-2 seconds to data deliver to photon and playfab server. If you push at same time data is not synced and players will not connect each other because servers don’t know that other player is waiting for room. Both players then will create their own rooms.

 

2. Shop is not showing on facebook? – What does it mean. If you mean InApp Purchases then there will not be them because Unity In-App purchases doesnt support purchases via WebGL (only Android and iOS)

 

3. This image just means that you have already logged in with facebook to this game. Just click OK and it will be fine. IF you are facing issues with that go to your facebook and unlink that game. Then facebook will ask you again for permissions.

Because there was not other player online. Best way to test it is to run game on 2 devices and then play on them at same time. Then it should connect both devices to game

Did you download latest version of code. Also if you push play button at same time on 2 devices then information is not on the server yet so both players create new room and are waiting for opponent. This is normal behaviour
