In a world where the information of every user of the network represents a source of income for large companies for the purposes of market research, studies on our habits and on our social image, DestroyChat aims to protect the personal information that is exchanged via messaging instantaneous, developing an app that uses both the encryption method and the permanent deletion from the physical and virtual memory of every single message sent after the expiry of the life time set by the user.

DestroyChat is an instant messaging application with the aim of not storing messages and images exchanged between two users in any storage medium.

Each message sent is first encrypted and, once received, decrypted with a simple click on the message which in turn will activate a countdown of the duration set by the sender after which the message is destroyed, deleted from any physical and virtual memory and it can no longer be viewed or restored by any user.

The duration of each message sent can be modified before each sending, therefore each single message has a different duration from the others in the same chat.

Furthermore, each chat can be completely destroyed at any time by both users with a single click, eliminating all messages in the chat.

The messages travel over the encrypted network and are decrypted only by the intended recipient, who can view the message until the expiration time is set.
