So you did change something?
One possible option is the following:
In the GameVC.swift file on line 68: gameBoadSize = boardView.frame.size.width
you can try to subtract some amount from gameBoardSize..

for example:
var iphone5fixer: Int = 50
gameBoadSize = boardView.frame.size.width – iphone5fixer

and try to change the var value so it looks fine on the device, but not to change the behavior on other devices, add some if clause to work only on certain device sizes.

Hi,

The issue is with the Main storyboard. Maybe with a new Xcode 10.3. I tried and saw that if the device is 5s then its boardView.frame.size.width gives wrong size. I fixed this now in code.

Well, Apple don’t support iphone 5S in iOS13, therefore i didn’t optimize it to that device, but it should work, since in xcode simulator under 5s it works. Image attached. Maybe you changed something.

The sound is by default turned off, you can add a button to game ui, but you can find sound and haptic under settings bundle. When you have the app installed on your device, open settings, scroll to “NeonPuzzle” , and there you can change the sound & haptic on/off.

yes but yet iOS 13 is not released and we do support older versions of iOS at least till iOS 11.

 

i haven’t changed any thing I just download your code and run on 5s. Attached images was from 5s simulator only. You can check it.

Well it should work, but i’m currently on my second machine which has xcode 10.2… maybe you can try 10.2? I can cehck tomorrow how it behaves in 10.3.
Have you tried to clean your build and ran it on a real device?
So far my sim works fine, your sim not. Maybe if you try it on a real device it works? Try reinstalling your sim?

Hi,
Well on my work machine and on my laptop running Xcode 10.3 it works fine.

When you open the storyboard and view as 4s, does it look the same as the image attached?
There you can see, that with current constraints it should fit onto the screen, also the tiles are calculated based on screen width so it should work fine.
